In addition to the traditional welcome evenings on Sunday and Thursday and the ball evening on Saturday, we have put together an extensive and varied programme of sightseeing and activities for you.
We would like to visit a steel plant to see how steel is produced, as well as a disused steel plant (landscape park). There will also be the opportunity to follow the path of coal, from extraction in a mine to refinement in a coking plant. In many places, the process of change into today's modern logistics centre becomes clear.
On Thursday there will be a family day in the countryside with an all-day programme. On Friday, we will be travelling by bus along the Route of Industrial Heritage and offering you several different exploratory tours
